Confidentiality
In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a client and psychotherapist. No information is disclosed without prior written permission from you.
However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule. Exceptions include:

Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse. The therapist is required to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person. The therapist is required to notify the police.

If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The therapist will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.
What forms of payments are accepted?
Payments in the form of Cash, Check, or Credit Card are accepted. There is a 4.5% fee associated with credit card transactions. Payments are due at the end of each session.
Fees for Individual Counseling vary depending on length of session and CPT code. Fees for Couples and Family Counseling also vary. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Do you accept insurance?
Healing Hearts is an Out of Network provider. We will provide you with receipts that you may submit to your insurance company. Many insurance companies will cover some if not all of our fees and you may contact your insurance company for specific details of your plan's coverage.
When you call for information, The codes of service that we typically provide at Healing Hearts are: Initial Consultation., CPT #90791; Individual Psychotherapy, CPT# 90834; Family Therapy with the patient present, CPT# 90847 or 90837, and Family Therapy without the patient present, CPT #90846.
This information will help you determine how much you will be reimbursed for your care at Healing Hearts.
We will also will provide receipts at the end of care that you may submit when doing your tax returns.
